**Jenna Ciralli joins PPI! **
Jenna is thrilled to join Paradise Permaculture Institute as their first Farm Hand hire. Originally a Montana gal, she lived in New York City for over a decade and is so pleased to get her hands back in the soil. Jenna has been passionately working in all areas of PPI food production since 2019. Within her new position, she looks forward to expanding her hours, responsibility and commitment to sustainable agriculture. She particularly loves providing the Livingston community with nourishing produce and building relationships with local markets and restaurants. She strongly believes in PPI’s mission, integrity and ethos and hopes to further learn from and support the Indigenous Women farming movement around the world.

The Cordwood toolshed has its door on, pegboard up on the upper inside large wall for large hanging garden tools.
The cracks in mortar will be covered with permachinking in the spring. Along with bottle logs for light and gravel floor, it is a comfortable solid structure, very protected from wind.
PPI friend, Skip built the door, roof and helped with the initial pole structure.The job of placing the 2x8s on the inside and outside of the posts to create the platform to build the cordwood wall was difficult and showed his expertise!
PPI’s Celery “Stalker”
This gentleman called himself the PPI Celery “Stalker” and he bought 16 lbs of celery! Half of the celery went to Food Works and we kept the other half cool in our garage; about 100 lbs total! Tomatoes, basil and peppers were harvested as well … great companions to celery.
Construction of Our Produce Washing Station
Construction of our new Produce Washing and Processing Station is complete!
We appreciate all the donations we received for Paradise Permaculture Institute’s Produce Washing Station through Park County Community Foundation’s Give-a-Hoot fundraising campaign, as well as a wonderful GTA grant from Montana Department of Agriculture for $4,000.00. The washing station will enable us to increase our productivity in supplying fresh, healthful locally grown food to restaurants and stores.
